Frank Lampard's Spanish fianceé Elen Rives has ended their relatonship after seven years and is expected to receive up to half of the footballer's £25 milllion fortune, despite them never marrying.
It is reported that the mother of two decided to split from Lampard while she was in holiday in Florida in January.
The couple are now in talks over where she will live and a possible settlement, plus Lampard's rights to visit his daughters, Luna, aged two, and one-year old Isla.
Reports have put the cause of the split down to Lampard's grief after the death of his mother in April, but Miss Rives, 30, supposedly hasn't forgiven the soccer star for his alleged fling in Las Vegas two years ago.
A woman also alleged that Lampard, 30, had sex with her in a hotel in Barcelona back in 2006.
Former air hostess Miss Rives is presently speaking to lawyers about the separation from Lampard, who is reportedly paid £120,000 per week.
She wants to receive at least £10 million from Lampard, but may have to sign a confidentiality agreement as part of the deal.
Lampard is one of a long line of footballers who have had to pay out multi-million pound settlements when they split up from their WAGs. Other footballers who have had costly splits are:

Thierry Henry. The French international gave £8 million out of his estimated £25 million fortune to his ex-wife after just four years of marriage. They have a three-year-old daughter together. Henry did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

- John Hartson. The former Celtic striker, paid out £1.5 million to his ex-wife, Lowri, which amounted to half of his then weekly salary of £20,000.
- Ray Parlour. The Arsenal midfielder gave £1.8 million of his future earnings to his former wife, Karen, in 2004, after she argued that she played a vital role in helping him with his career.

- Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving: The couple divorced after four years of marriage. Irving successfully contested their prenuptial agreement because she didn't have legal representation and she received $100 million, roughly half of Spielberg's fortune at the time. He is now worth $3 billion.
- Harrison Ford and Melissa Mathison: The settlement awarded to Mathison was estimated at $85 million. She also negotiated a piece of Ford's future earnings from films he made while they were married, including DVD sales of The Fugitive and the Indiana Jones trilogy. They were married for 21 years.
- Kevin Costner and Cindy Silva: After 16 years of marriage Silva was awarded $80 million because she was married to him during his peak earning years.
- Paul McCartney and Heather Mills: The couple, who have a daughter together, split after four years of marriage. Mills received £23.4 million of McCartney's £400 million fortune.
- James Cameron and Linda Hamilton: Cameron received an estimated $100 million from Paramount for Titanic and Hamilton received half of that in the divorce settlement. They have one daughter together.
- Michael and Diandra Douglas: Diandra was awarded $45 million, as well as homes in Beverly Hills and Majorca. They were married for 22 years.
- Lionel and Diane Richie: After eight years of marriage Diane filed for divorce in 2004. As part of her petition she claimed a monthly clothing allowance of $15,000 and a plastic surgery budget of $20,000 a year. She received an estimated settlement of $20 million.
- Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall: Despite being together for 22 years and having two children together, Jerry only obtained a fraction of his $325 million fortune when she received between $15 and $25 million.
